Que tal?!

Hola!
Me llamo Maggie y estoy en Honduras!  It is crazy to think that we have been here for 4 days already; we have done so much but it doesn't seem like it should be Thursday already!  We have been working on multiple projects at a 175-acre park in Siguadepeque:  building a shelter, sanding and painting old playground equipment, mapping out campgrounds, and digging trails.  The projects that we have been working on are really coming together, and we are having a great time doing them.  For example, today we were putting down the foundation for the shelter, and in order to pat down the sand, we had a dance party on the base of the shelter with a group of Honduran high-school students (with Caleb as our DJ of course)!  Tomorrow is our last day in Siguadepeque, and then we travel to Orica on Saturday.
I will miss this town with the beautiful mountain views, the rich relationships we have developed, and the delicious food!  But, I'm sure that we will find these things and so much more in Orica.
Please be praying for us as we scramble (in Honduran time) to finish the shelter and as many of the other projects as we can tomorrow while continuing to build relationships with each other, the UW-LA team, and the Hondurans.  Also, please pray for safe travels on Saturday to Orica.
Thanks for reading this post, and I can't wait to tell you all so much more when I return.
Love,
Maggie
